Two things shipped this week, and they solve the same problem from opposite ends.
Until now, an alert only existed here. A fund changed tier, we recorded it, and you found out the next time you opened the site. We have been careful to write “alerts on the site” everywhere, because that is what they were.
Alerts in Telegram
Pro accounts can now have alerts pushed to one Telegram chat. Connect it once from your account page, and the alert arrives when the tier changes rather than when you next happen to visit.
Nothing listens on our side. We call Telegram and read the reply. There is no webhook, so nothing on our server sits waiting to receive anything. The bot has no menu and no commands, and it will not answer you. If two-way conversation ever earns its place, it will be built as its own thing.
Access for your AI assistant
The same problem from the other end. Pro accounts can give their own AI assistant read access to the funds they already see here. Nothing is installed: you create a token on your account page and point a client at one URL. The token is shown once, and what we keep is a fingerprint, so we cannot show it a second time if you ask.
The assistant sees what you see and nothing more.
The part that took the time
An assistant that reads our data will write sentences about it, and those sentences will sound like they came from us. So the rules travel with the data. Every response carries them, numbered and in plain sight:
Never say what a figure implies about the future.
Never tell anyone to buy, sell, hold or switch, and never imply it.
Never compare a fund against a benchmark that is not in the response.
Never present its own inference as something this tool said.
If the fields do not answer the question, say so rather than filling the gap from elsewhere.
We cannot force a model to obey. What we can do is put the constraint where it cannot be missed, next to every figure.
Both are Pro features, and Pro is free for everyone until 30 November.
